Workforce began in 2016 while Zac was studying Agri-Business at McGill. What started as small landscaping jobs during school grew into a full outdoor construction company built on reliability and quality.
Long before Workforce operated at its current scale, Zac was immersed in landscaping and construction through family and industry mentors. From a young age, the appeal was taking unfinished space and shaping it with intention. That mindset continues to guide how every project is built today.
The company grew through referrals and repeat clients who valued a hands-on approach and detailed planning.
Renderings and structured layouts bring clarity to what’s being built, so clients understand exactly what they’re investing in from the start.
Some projects are completed all at once. Others are built in stages over time. The focus remains the same: do the work properly and keep our word.
Since 2016, Workforce has built and managed over eight figures in construction projects across Quebec and beyond, ranging from focused deck builds to full property transformations.
Today, projects are still overseen directly by Zac and Chris Yassa, maintaining the same hands-on approach the company was built on.
Yes. We hold a valid RBQ license and carry liability insurance for all projects.
Many landscaping contractors operate without proper licensing. We don’t.
If your project requires permits or inspections, we handle it properly from the start.

Projects are overseen directly by Zac and Chris Yassa.
From planning and pricing to scheduling and on-site execution, leadership remains hands-on throughout the build.
We don’t overbook projects or hand them off to unfamiliar crews. The people responsible for the plan are involved through completion.
We focus on structured outdoor construction projects, from standalone builds like decks, driveways and landscape lighting to full backyard transformations including pools, stonework, and integrated living spaces.
Project scope varies, but the approach stays the same. Clear planning, proper execution, and a finished product built to last.
We schedule projects carefully and limit how many we take on at once.
When we commit to a start date, we show up and stay on it.
We don’t stack jobs and disappear halfway through.
Clear timelines and steady progress are part of how we work.
